Briggs and Stratton also has the best warranty on the market when it comes to residential applications. This gives homeowners the peace of mind for 10 years that they won’t have to pay for any type of repair bills. B&S models we recommend for smaller homes
We recommend either a 12kW or a 20kW Generator on a small to medium sized home. Depending on the house load, each unit can provide a substantial amount of power to run most appliances in the home. Air conditioning is always a luxury to have during a power outage, so depending if one would want their generator to power their AC unit, that’s how we would determine the correct size for a house.
B&S Model we recommend for larger homes
We recommend a 35kW or 48kW Briggs and Stratton Generator for larger homes. These units are Liquid Cooled Generators that usually can power most if not all of a homes load with ease. Having either one of these units means you do not want to be interrupted with a power outage and they will let you run the things in your home without any type of problem or interruption during an outage.
Commercial B&S Model we recommend for businesses
Briggs and Strattons line of commercial generators run from 80 - 200kW. All run in either natural gas or propane. Briggs and Stratton Commercial model are meant for small to midsize office buildings to power most if not all of the building. These units are sleek in design with a charcoal grey and have sound attenuated enclosures.

Common Issues one may run into with a B&S
The most common issue that briggs and stratton generators have is that once in a while they need software updates. Generators have computers in them, so just like a cell phone, they do need to be updated periodically so the whole generator is running at its best ability.
Briggs and Stratton Use Examples
Sump Pumps are essential in homes because they pump water out of basements so a homeowners basement doesn’t flood. If power goes out during a bad storm, not only will you get a lot of water in your basement because of the rain, but the sump pump will not work because there is no power going to it. Most people with sump pumps buy a briggs and stratton generator to back up their basement system
For someone who has a lot of money invested in salt water fish, a power outage would stop the filter from cleaning the tank and stop the aerator pumping oxygen into the water. A short outage would kill the fish and leave the homeowner out a lot of money in their investment. Prevent this with a whole home standby generator from Briggs & Stratton.
our maintenance program
A & J Generator has a very in depth maintenance program made to find problems before outages exploit them. A & J performs 2 maintenance visits a year (every 6 months). A & J’s master Briggs and Stratton technicians know each model in and out. The maintenance program is meant for the homeowner to get the most out of their generator and prolong the life of their investment.
